How Can I Help?
If you want to help out, but stage acting is not your thing, you can still be a part of Brooke Hills Playhouse. We are always looking for new volunteers to help out, both on and off the stage. Here are some of the many ways you can help to make Brooke Hills Playhouse even better.
Set Building - If you are handy with tools or just want to be an extra hand, we can always use help building sets before each production as well as tearing down each set once the production is done.
Stage Manager, Lights... - Technical help is an excellent way to be part of a production without being on stage.
Box Office - There is a lot of work to be done behind the scenes while a show is going on.
Accompanists - Many of the shows need musical background. If you play any instrument and are willing to help out, please let us know.
Murder Mystery Players - The Brooke Hills Playhouse is always seeking new talent. If you don't have the time to commit to a major production or if you'd like to try acting in a more extemporaneous manner, try joining in on a murder mystery production.
General Cleaning and Improvement - Keeping up an eighteenth century barn can be a lot of work. If you would like to help clean or improve the playhouse, please let us know.
Donations - Brooke Hills Playhouse accepts donations of building materials, tools, paint and other items for use in set building. We also will take sellable items. If you are not sure if you should donate any item, just ask. Donations made to the playhouse are tax-deductible.
